Barry is a lawyer by trade but has over 15 years of real estate investing experience. Prior to Northlake Development Group, Barry founded Black Mountain Assets, a commercial real estate investing firm. Barry also co-founded Maven Real Estate, a multifamily real estate investing firm. Barry began his career practicing law at Shutts & Bowen and Adorno & Yoss and holds an MBA from the Robert Emmett McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University, a JD from Georgetown University Law Center, and a BA from Tufts University
Sharon has over 5 years of real estate investing experience and 25 years in Financial Services. Prior to Northlake Development Group, Sharon spent the bulk of her career as the US Head of Brand & Client Strategy at RBC Capital Markets. Before RBC, Sharon was a member of the executive team at Carlin Financial Group and was a founder of predecessor firm Nextgen Trading. Sharon began her career as a Product Manager at Goldman Sachs Asset Management. Sharon is a CPA and holds a BS in Accounting from Brooklyn College.
Before joining Northlake Development Group, David was an investment professional at Lovell Minnick Partners, a multi-billion-dollar Private Equity firm based out of NYC, focused on underwriting new investments and supporting portfolio companies. Prior to Lovell Minnick, David spent 3 years in Investment Banking at RBC Capital Markets focused on mergers & acquisitions and debt and equity financings. David holds a BBA from the University of Michigan, Stephen M. Ross School of Business.
Before joining Northlake Development Group, Elliot spent 2 years in Investment Banking at Mizuho Securities focused on Financial Sponsor transactions, including leveraged buyouts and various debt and equity financings. Elliot holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the New York University Stern School of Business and is currently pursuing a Masters in Real Estate Development from New York University School of Professional Studies.
